Gametime is only hours away.
There have been conflicting accounts on whether SLRs will be allowed in Olympic venues. Popular Photography said on one of its blogs that the answer is no. Some Chinese websites, however, have reportedly been saying that SLRs will be allowed in by spectators, but not tripods or long-reaching zoom lenses. I plan to arrive at the stadium early and see what happens.
